WBCSSC Recruitment 2016: The West Bengal Central School Service Commission (WBCSSC), Kolkata has released an employment notice for Recruitment of Clerk and Group-D Staff (Peon, Laboratory Attendant, Night Guard, Matron, Helper) in Govt. aided / Sponsored / Junior-High/Secondary/Higher Secondary Schools (Except Hill Region). Candidates can apply online from 10th August 2016 to 31st August 2016.
West Bengal School Service Commission will conduct 3rd Regional Level Selection Test, 2016 for post of Non-Teaching Staff namely Clerk and Group-D Staf. Total Number of Vacancies are 4923 out of which 1707 are for Clerk post and 3216 are for Group-D Staff.

Educational Qualification:
1. Clerk : Candidate should have passed School Final/Madhyamik or its equivalent or Old H.S. in lieu of School Final/Madhyamik or its equivalent.
2. Group-D Staff : Candidate should have passed Class VIII from any School recognize or affiliated by Board/Council or equivalent.
Age Limit : Minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum 40 years as on 1st January 2016. Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe Candidates, 03 Years for Other Backward Class Candidates and 08 years for the Physically Handicapped and 05 years for Ex-Servicemen
Examination Fee : For Clerk post - Examination Fee charges are Rs.140 for General & OBC Candidates & Rs.70 for SC / ST/ PH Candidates. For Group-D Staff - Examination Fee charges are Rs.120 for General & OBC Candidates & Rs.60 for SC / ST/ PH Candidates. Candidates can pay fee either through Bank Challan at any Branch of Allahabad Bank in West Bengal after 24 hours of online Submission of Application OR can pay fee in cash at any "Sahaj Tathya Mitra Kendra , Common Service centre (C.S.C.)" OR can pay by using Credit/Debit card or using Net-Banking.
Selection Process : Selection will be made through a merit which will be based on Regional Level Selection Test comprising written examination (MCQ Type), evaluation of academic qualifications and Personality Tests with Typing and Computer Proficiency.
