PSSSB Recruitment 2016: Punjab Subordinate Service Selection Board (PSSSB) has released an employment notification for recruitment to 800 posts of Panchayat Secretary in Department of Rural Development and Panchayats, Punjab. Online applications are invited from eligible candidates from 8th August 2016 to 6th September 2016.

Scale of Pay : Rs. 10300-34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs.3200/-
Age Limit : Minimum 18 years and maximum 37 years as on 1st January 2016. Upper age limit is relaxable upto 42 years for Schedule Caste & Backward Classes of Punjab.
Educational Qualification : (i) Candidate must hold a Graduate Degree from any recognized University/ Institution as per UGC guidelines.(ii) Must have studied Punjabi up to Matriculation.(iii) Candidate should have one year Diploma in Computer Application.
Application Fee : Application fee charges are Rs. 600 for General Category, Sportsmen (General) & Freedom Fighters, Rs. 150 for SC/OBC, Sportsmen (SC), Rs. 300 for PWD category and Rs. 100 for Ex-servicemen.Candidate may deposit application fee at any branch of State Bank of India at next day after submission of online application
Selection Process : Selection will be based on Educational Qualifications, Typing Test (English & Punjabi) and Written Test (Objective Type).
