Northeast Frontier Railway Recruitment: Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) has published a notification for the recruitment against Scouts & Guides Quota for the year 2016-17 in GP Rs. 1900 and GP Rs. 1800. Age Limit as on 1st January 2017:
For Posts in PB-1 Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs.1900 : Minimum age limit is 18 years for all categories and maximum 29 years for Unreserved, 32 years for OBC and 34 years for SC/ST.
For Posts in PB-1 Rs.5200-20200/-with Grade Pay Rs.1800 : Minimum age limit is 18 years for all categories and maximum 32 years for Unreserved, 35 years for OBC and 37 years for SC/ST.
Education Qualification
a) For Posts in PB-1 Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs.1900 : (i) Candidate must be 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination passed with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate. (ii) Candidate must have typing speed of 30 wpm in English or 25 wpm in Hindi for the post of Jr. Clerk cum Typist/Accounts Clerk cum Typist. (iii) For Technician Gr. III post, candidate must have passed matriculation/10th or its equivalent Examination
b) For Posts in PB-1 Rs.5200-20200/-with Grade Pay Rs.1800 : Candidate must have passed Matriculation or ITI or its equivalent Examination
Scouting / Guiding Qualifications: Candidate should be (1) A President Scout/ Guide/ Rover/ Ranger OR Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB) holder in any section. (2) Candidate should have been an active member of Scouts Organization for the last five years. (3) Candidate should have attended two events at National Level or All Indian Railways Level AND two events at State Level.
Selection Process : Selection Process will consist of Written Test, Scouting Skill Assessment and Marks on certificates
Application Fee : Application fee charges are Rs.250/- for SC/ST categories, Women, Ex-serviceman, Minorities {Muslim, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists and Zorastrians (Parsis)}, Persons With Disabilities, and economically backward classes, Rs. 500/- for all others Candidates. Fee should be pay through IPO drawn in favour of FA&CAO/NF Railway, and payable at Maligaon Post Office, Guwahati – 781011
