Indian Navy Recruitment 2016-17: Indian Navy has published a notification to join as Short Service Commissioned Officers in Executive Branch (General Service/ Hydro Cadre/ Information Technology) and Technical Branch (General Service/ Submarine/ Naval Architecture) Jun 2017 Course. Applications are invited for grant of Short Service Commission in Executive Branch viz General Service/Hydro/IT and Technical Branch viz General Service/Submarine/Naval Architecture of the Indian Navy for Jun 17 Course at Indian Naval Academy (INA) Ezhimala, Kerala.

Age Limit : 19 ½ to 25 Years, candidate must have born between 02 Jul 1992 & 01 Jan 1998 (both dates inclusive).

Sub Lieutenant - PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay Rs.5400

Lieutenant - PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay Rs.6100

Lieutenant Commander - PB-3 Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay Rs.6600 

Commander - PB-4 Rs.37400-67000 with Grade Pay Rs.8000

Physical Standards

Height & weight : Minimum height Male – 157 cm, Female – 152 cm with correlated weight.


Selection Process : Selection will be made through SSB interview which will be conducted in two Stages, Stage I test consisting of Intelligence Test, Picture Perception and Discussion test & Stage II tests comprising of Psychological testing, Group testing and Interview. SSB Interview will be held during November 2016 to March 2017 at Bangalore/ Bhopal/ Coimbatore/ Visakhapatnam
