Air India Limited Recruitment 2016: Air India Engineering Services Limited (AIESL), A Wholly owned Subsidiary of Air India, has published a notification to fill 961 vacancies of Aircraft Technician.

Name of Post : Aircraft Technician

Number of Posts : 961 Posts (General-489, SC-143, ST-71 & OBC-258)

Payscale : Rs.15,000 during training period of one year. After successful completion of training candidates will be ranked as Aircraft Technician and would be paid emoluments of Rs.17,680 per month

Age Limit as on 1st July 2016 : Upper age limited is 28 Years for General Candidates, 33 Years for SC/ST and 31 Years for OBC Candidates. Age relaxation for Ex-Servicemen will be given as per rules

Education Qualification : Candidate must have AME Diploma/ Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering from institute approved by DGCA with 60% marks or equivalent grade OR have successfully Completed 04 years Course/ Diploma in Aircraft/ Electrical/Instruments/ Radio Artificer Training conducted by Indian Navy which are acceptable by DGCA OR Three years Diploma in Engineer in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation/ Electronics and Telecommunication/ Radio Engineering with 60% marks or equivalent grade.

Application Fee : Candidates are required to pay Application fee charges of Rs.1000/- only through on-line SBI Bank Challan. SC/ ST/ Ex-servicemen candidates are not required to pay application fees.

How to Apply : Applicants can apply online through www.airindia.in on or before 30th September 2016. After final submission of online application, candidate must take a printout of application and send hard copy along with all supporting testimonials, documents in proof of qualification, GATE score, Age, caste, ID proof to the Post-box no 12006, Cossipore Post Office, Kolkata-700 002 till 31st October 2016
